FORT WORTH, Texas – After eight weeks of the college football season, TCU (7-0) is the lone remaining undefeated team in the Big 12 and in the state of Texas. A lot of the Horned Frogs’ success stems from the play and leadership of their starting quarterback Max Duggan.

What You Need To Know

  • The TCU Horned Frogs have won four straight games against AP-ranked opponents for the first time in school history

  • Max Duggan has completed a career high 68.9% of his passes for 1,871 yards, 19 touchdowns and one interception this season

  • TCU travels to West Virginia to take on the Mountaineers on Saturday, Oct. 29 at 11 a.m.

With the departure of Gary Patterson, a man who led the Horned Frogs for 22 years, Max lost the head coach who recruited him, which alone would’ve sent any player in this day in age into the transfer portal. But he perseveres. Max then had to battle with Chandler Morris, who was named the starting quarterback week one against Colorado. Max never blinked. After a knee injury to Chandler during the first half, Max has led TCU to seven straight wins.

Robbie Fuelling sat down with Max to find out where his grit and character comes from.
