TEXAS — There's a re-match taking place in the race for lieutenant governor of Texas.
Democrat Mike Collier is hoping the second time's the charm when it comes to upsetting Republican incumbent Dan Patrick. Collier lost to Patrick by nearly 5 percentage points in 2018.
“We were gaining on Dan Patrick right up until Election Day. I really believe this, if we had had more time and more money, we could have won. Well, now, we’re going to have plenty of time and plenty of money and I think we can win,” Collier said in an interview on Capital Tonight.
