PLANO, Texas — A Plano resident saw something unusual wandering around the city on Thursday.
Artist Rudy Guajardo captured video of a beaver in the Downtown Plano Arts District, at the corner of 15th Street and Avenue K.
Guajardo, who works at Blue Tiger Designs, called the experience “interesting and unexpected.”
Texas Parks and Wildlife’s website says “beavers live along many wooded rivers, lakes, and streams in Texas, but their highest populations are found in the northeastern part of the state. Legal trapping efforts help keep their numbers under control.”
It’s not clear where the Plano beaver came from, or where it ended up.
