Brian Scott joined Spectrum in July of 2020.

Scott is a multi-time Emmy nominee and has been a part of several Emmy winning newscasts, including a Murrow Award winning newscast. He’s been in news for more than a decade now and has told stories of all kinds from long-lost reunions to natural disasters — from events that have shaken the nation to everyday people changing the world.

The Dallas Police shooting in 2016 was one of the most meaningful stories he has ever covered and witnessed. Scott was amazed in the in the aftermath of such an event, how the North Texas community united together in the difficult time to support each other.

Scott loves the culture, the people, and the experiences of North Texas. Like many, he wasn’t born here, but is happy to be an adopted son of Dallas Fort Worth.
