Most storms are expected west of the I-35 corridor. A low level 1 marginal risk of severe storms is in place through tonight and Friday for that region, which includes some portions of the Austin, San Antonio and Dallas-Fort Worth areas. Large hail and damaging wind gusts are the primary concern.
Lows tonight will be warm with all the moisture. Upper 60s and low 70s are expected for Friday morning.
A decent cold front will sweep across Texas during the day on Friday. Showers and thunderstorms will accompany the boundary with a few severe storms possible.
Once that front pushes east, we’ll enjoy clearing skies with mild temperatures for the weekend.
