AUSTIN, Texas -- Stephen F. Austin High School was spray painted overnight Sunday into Monday with a message calling out rapists and the treatment of victims at the school.
The first part of the graffiti said that the school tells rapists to avoid being noticed, while showing no sympathy to the victims.
Another part of the message said, "loyal to the rapists and not the victums." The message was cleaned up Monday morning.
The Austin Independent School District confirms they are looking into the matter, but gave no other details.
The Austin Police Department released the following statement:
There was an investigation conducted by the APD Child Abuse unit, the case has been closed. No additional information will be released since it does involve a juvenile. All other questions regarding the graffiti need to be handled by AISD.
