SAN ANTONIO — UPDATE: The man who was shot and killed on Wednesday has been identified as Michael Antwone Williams. Officials say the cause of death was from a gunshot wound.
ORIGINAL STORY: Police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred at a San Antonio flea market.
The incident happened at the Eisenhauer Flea Market.
According to San Antonio Police Chief William McManus, a woman was driving to the flea market when she was approached by a man in a hoodie in the market's parking lot that made her feel uncomfortable.
She was able to contact two friends that were inside the store who walked out to the lot. At this point, the two walked out and a scuffle broke out between them and the man in the hoodie.
The man in the hoodie then fired a gun, which wounded one of the friends, a man. The suspect then took off and is currently at large.
Authorities said the male victim was transported to San Antonio Military Medical Center where they later succumbed to their wound.
