SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police are asking for help to find the driver responsible for hitting a 4-year-old boy in 2017.
Angel Robles was hit on Oct. 16, 2017 around 6:10 p.m. when he was walking across N Zarzamora Street with his grandmother. As the walk signal lit up, Robles was hit by a red sedan in the crosswalk.
The driver was turning onto the 400 block of N Zarzamora Street from W Martin Street. After she hit Robles, she paused briefly before fleeing down the road without stopping to help the young boy.
Investigators said she fled after finding out that police were going to be called.
The driver is described by police as a light-skinned Hispanic woman between 30 and 40 years old. There were at least two passengers in her car at the time of the crash.
Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $5,000 reward for anyone with information that can lead to the arrest of the driver. All calls and tips are anonymous.
