SAN ANTONIO – A widow is still looking for answers half a year after her 41-year-old husband was murdered.

Now, up to a $5,000 reward is being offered for anyone who has information that can lead to arrest of the person responsible for the murder of Nicholas Joseph Ciarrocchi.

Ciarrocchi was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds at 12:26 a.m. on June 6, 2017 in the parking lot of a Food Mart on Martin Luther King. He was pronounced dead at 12:41 a.m. by EMS.

Multiple shell casings were found at the scene of the shooting.

So far, no witnesses have come forward during the investigation and police still do not have a description of a suspect.

Ciarrocchi’s wife, Katrina Ornelas, said they had a true love story.

"He was the maintenance man at my old apartment complex. So literally my husband came knocking at my door," said Ornelas.

She said she found out her husband was dead when she saw his car on the news.

While the shooter was never caught, Ornelas said the lack of cooperation from the community has been the most frustrating.

"I know there are people out there that know what happened to my husband. But because of that stigma of snitches get stitches, people are afraid," said Ornelas.

To qualify for the reward you can submit your tip to Crime Stoppers online or by calling 210-224-7867.
