A weekend cold front has pushed well into south Texas; behind the boundary, north winds will stay a little gusty through Monday afternoon. Otherwise high clouds will drift overhead resulting in partly cloudy skies. Dewpoint temperatures are in the 30s, so the atmosphere is quite dry.

With lighter winds and clear skies overnight, we’ll see some chilly temperatures for Tuesday morning – most areas will be in the middle 40s. After highs near 70 Tuesday, warmer conditions begin to develop by Wednesday as winds return to the south.

For the latter part of the week, increasing surface moisture will result in warmer mornings with lows climbing into the 50s. Afternoon highs will climb to the middle 70s and low 80s by the weekend. A low  chance of showers returns Thursday and lasts through the weekend as a series of weak upper level disturbances passes over Texas.
