NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas — Pickle fans rejoice! New Braunfels will host its inaugural “In A Pickle Festival.”

The festival is moving to New Braunfels on March 15.

Originating in Kingwood, Texas, the festival was established in 2018 to revitalize the community after Hurricane Harvey and to raise awareness for Hunter Syndrome, a rare genetic disorder. After years, the organizers are expanding to New Braunfels, aiming to share the pickle-themed festivities with a broader audience.

Attendees can expect a variety of pickle-inspired treats. The event will feature more than 150 vendors, each offering pickle-themed item. Beyond the culinary delights, the festival will host pickle-eating and drinking contests for both adults and children, a pickle pet parade, bull riding and live music from local artists.

The festival will run from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Comal County Fairgrounds, at 701 Common St., New Braunfels, Texas, 78130.

People can purchase tickets for the festival at Eventbrite Tickets.
