GRAPEVINE, Texas — Multiple agencies responded to a massive fire at a Grapevine Lake marina where several boats were damaged and one person was injured.
The Grapevine Fire Department responded to a call at the Silver Lake Marina on the Grapevine Lake just before 1:30 p.m. on Sunday. The fire produced billows of smoke and was possibly caused by an electrical short or a fuel explosion, according to officials.
Four boats were significantly damaged and six sustained minor damage. Only one person was reportedly injured due to the fire, according to the Grapevine Fire Department.
Neither the injured person's identity of the extent of their injuries have been released.
Several units assisted Grapevine FD tame the flames, including crews from Bedford, Colleyville, DFW Airport, Flower Mound, Euless, Lewisville, Hurst and North Richland Hills, Grapevine FD said.
