TEXAS — From vendor markets to ally discussions to parades and festivals, Pride Month celebrations of all kinds are happening throughout Texas. Here are some events to look forward to in your area. 

Austin

The Little Gay Shop’s Pride Party

What: The Little Gay Shop is throwing a free and pet-friendly Pride party featuring over 70 local vendors, free drinks, food, activities and more.

When: Sunday, June 23 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Where: Distribution Hall

Craft Night at Austin Public Library

What: Celebrate Pride Month while learning how to make a Pride-themed beaded wind chime with The Crafty Adult. This event is free and open to the public.

When: Tuesday, June 25 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Where: Austin Public Library, Southeast Branch

Pride Picnic at Pease Park

What: Hang out at Pease Park while enjoying 30 local vendors, food and drinks, picnicking on the lawn and activities for all ages like tie dyeing and friendship bracelet making.

When: Saturday, June 29 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Where: Kingsbury Commons at Pease Park

San Antonio

Pride “Bigger Than Texas” Festival & Parade

What: Celebrate Pride Month with San Antonio Pride’s festival and parade. The festival will feature food, entertainment, a Pride wedding, a health fair and local LGBTQ+ and ally small businesses, vendors, entertainers and performers. View the parade route here.

When: Saturday, June 29 / Festival: 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. / Parade: 9 p.m.

Where: Crockett Park

Centro San Antonio’s 3rd Annual Family Pride Day

What: Centro San Antonio is throwing a family Pride celebration with games and activities hosted by local organizations. A mini parade will take off around the park; dressing up and bringing Pride flags to wave is encouraged.

When: Wednesday, June 26 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Where: Madison Square Park

Parenting with Pride

What: The San Antonio Public Library is hosting a presentation geared toward parents of LGBTQ+ kids who want to learn more about allyship.

When: Saturday, June 22 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Where: McCreless Branch Library

Dallas

Pride Bike Ride

What: Trek Bikes invites you to a free Pride bike ride with snacks, drinks and freebies for attendees and their bikes. Everyone is welcome on this casual cruise. Helmets are required; lights and hydration are recommended. 

When: Saturday, June 30 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Teen Pride Community & Celebration

What: A Pride celebration for LGBTQ+ and allied teens ages 13 to 19 with food, art, books, music, games and discussions.

When: Thursday, June 27 from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Where: Whose Books Neighborhood Bookstore

Strut Dallas Pride

What: A glamorous Pride Month party with DJs, drag performers, burlesque shows, pop-up shops and a local charity raffle. Brooke Lynn Hytes from "RuPaul’s Drag Race" and "Canada’s Drag Race" will headline. Tickets start at $30.

When: Saturday, June 22 from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m.
