AUSTIN, Texas  — The 2024 edition of South by Southwest is still a little more than six months off, but it’s never too early to start planning your trip to Austin.

SXSW isn’t wasting any time incentivizing attendees, on Tuesday announcing the first slate of featured speakers.

The most recognizable name is actress and activist Rosario Dawson. The “Ahsoka” star supports charities including the ONE Campaign, Amnesty International, Doctors Without Borders and National Geographic Society, to name a few. She’s also a board member of V-day, an activist movement to end violence against girls and women.

Other speakers include OpenAI VP of Consumer Product and Head of ChatGPT Peter Deng, CEO of the Future Today Institute Amy Webb, “Call Her Daddy" podcast producer Alex Cooper, Director of the Boston University Center for Antiracist Research Dr. Ibram X. Kendi and author Tim Ferriss.
