DALLAS — The Dallas Zoo has something to celebrate.
The zoo recently introduce the newest member of its klipspringer family, a female calf named Mitzi. She was born on May 15 to first-time parents Clarice and Rudi. Mitzi is the first klipspringer born at the Dallas Zoo in 23 years.
A klipspringer is a small antelope found in eastern and southern Africa
The zoo also celebrated the oldest member of the klipspringer family, Saba, who just celebrated his 24th birthday.
Both Mitzi and Saba remain in habitats behind the scenes at the zoo, where zoologists provide them with care.
