DALLAS — As heavy wind and rain pass through North Texas, it seems the worst is over after a tornado warning was canceled for Tarrant and Dallas Counties. 

The Arlington Police Department tweeted that it’s assisting the Arlington Fire Department with some damages across the city including malfunctioning signal lights, various roof collapses on some structures and damages to buildings.  

It’s unclear how bad the damage is and whether or not anyone was injured, and several Snapchat users posted videos of the damage during and after the storm along Pioneer Parkway.

Just before 9 p.m. a severe storm capable of producing a tornado, was located near Grand Prairie, moving east at 45 miles per hour. The tornado warning was lifted just after 9:20 p.m. 

There are still areas of North Texas capable of severe wind gusts through the evening.
