AUSTIN, Texas – Dave Chappelle is coming back to Texas, this time for three socially distant, surprise live shows in Austin.

The three shows will be at Stubb's Waller Creek Amphitheater on November 16, 17, and 18. Tickets cost $200 a head and as of Monday morning were completely sold out.

According to C3 Concerts, all audience members must be 18 or older and masks must be worn at all times during the shows.

Attendees will also be required to take a COVID-19 rapid test and anyone that tests positive for the virus will be asked to leave and be issued a refund.

This isn’t the first set of shows Chappelle has performed during the course of the pandemic.

During an interview with David Letterman on Netflix’s My Next Guest Needs No Introduction, Chappelle spoke about how he’s performed shows all summer as a way to keep community members from his small town of Yellow Springs, Ohio, employed.

Chappelle last performed in Austin at the Paramount Theatre in 2019, immediately following three surprise shows in San Antonio.
