NATIONWIDE – Foot Locker owners say their U.S. stores will transform into voter registration sites ahead of the November election.

According to a news release, they’ve partnered with Rock the Vote to turn retail spaces into voter registration sites in an attempt to get young people to vote.

More than 2,000 of the brand’s stores will participate including Kids Foot Locker, Lady Foot Locker, Champs Sports and Footaction.

"In a year marked with such uncertainty, amid a pandemic and social unrest, our country's future – and our collective role in shaping it – has never been more important," said Footlocker Chairman and CEO Richard Johnson in a written statement. "At Foot Locker, our mission is to inspire and empower youth culture, so partnering with Rock the Vote was a natural fit to help educate and amplify the voices of today's youth."

The company isn’t just allowing customers to register, they’re also making it easier for company employees to vote.

Foot Locker owners say they’re working with corporate and store staff to create flexible time for employees to vote as well.
