TEXAS — A plume of dust from the Sahara Desert in Africa is traveling more than 5,000 miles, eventually arriving in Texas Friday and Saturday. However, this particular plume has been unusually intense, causing poor air quality and dramatically reduced visibility in parts of the Caribbean.
In the “Weather on the Lawn” video above, Meteorologist Adam Krueger walks us through the dust’s journey, and how it will impact Texas.
