MATHIS, Texas -- The AMBER Alert issued for the 5-year-old Mathis boy has been canceled. The child is safe and has been turned over to CPS.

An AMBER Alert has been issued for five-year-old Enrique Hernandez from Mathis, Texas.

According to the Mathis Police Department, he’s three feet 11 inches, weighs 80 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes.

Police are looking for 22-year-old Stephanie Olivarez in connection with his abduction. She’s 5 feet 6 inches, weighs 223 lbs, and has brown hair, and brown eyes.

The Olivarez is driving a red, 2002 Dodge Neon with a Texas license plate number of LDR 8421. She was last heard from in Mathis, Texas

Law enforcement officials believe this child to be in grave or immediate danger.
