SAN ANTONIO -- Fiesta 2020 is officially less than one month away!

It's the two-week party with a purpose that draws enormous crowds and raises tons of money for local charities.
It's medal madness at Monarch Trophy Studio and this year Spectrum News has three new medals you can collect for yourself - including one very unique blue medal with ribbons!
Here is what owner Kathy Drago said about our medals and the medal outlook for this year.
"We've never done ribbons before like this. I know one other person who has done a ribbon and he sat in his living room and put those together. But these were done for y'all and I'm so excited this is a new thing. We have other kinds of things that we do like spinners, and dangles, and all sorts of glitter all over the place. So we're super excited about what Fiesta looks like this year," she said.
Drago and her husband started Monarch Trophy Studio nearly two decades ago and it's become a proud family business.
"My husband and I, we are a family-owned business and we've been doing this for about 18 years. We just absolutely love this. We have our three sons here working in the business as well. We have one son who is in charge of the Fiesta department and we even have our dog in the store too, so it's very family oriented here," she said.
Over the years, she never thought it would get so big and transform into the Fiesta staple we see today.
"We had absolutely no idea. We have done Fiesta medals for years. It dates back to the 1980s, but about 10 or 15 years ago we really started to get into what the community was doing, what the culture was, what Fiesta looked like, and this has just become a huge part of our business and it really connects us to the community and a lot of people out there," she said.
