AUSTIN, Texas – If you are looking to get out of town for the weekend then look no further than the great State Fair of Texas.

The fair began on Friday in Dallas. Attendees can get their fill of live music, rides on the Midway, and fried fair food.

There are lots of delicious new menu items you can try out this year, like deep-fried Nutella custard stuffed French Toast, deep fried potato salad, and a peanut butter and jelly bacon-pickle dog.
