As of Friday morning, Interstate 10 between Beaumont and Winnie, Texas remained closed due to flood waters. Texas Department of Transportation said it had no estimate for when the highway would reopen.
I-10 is also closed at the Crosby Lynchburg Road Bridge near Channelview due to a loose barge striking the bridge. The bridge will remain closed until it can be inspected.
TxDOT says multiple roadways in the Houston area are flooded and closed.
Flights destined to George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston were delayed or canceled Thursday. As of Friday, the airport airfield is open to all arriving and departing flights.
