SAN ANTONIO -- Thursday marked the Kiddie Park’s grand finale at its original location. For more than 90 years the park has brought family fun to the ares off Broadway and East Mulberry.

- Moving to San Antonio Zoo
"The carousel is the favorite right for us, 'cause I can still get on it," said Judy Valdez.
No matter the age, everyone has their favorite ride.
"They might see the layers of rust and see old attractions, but I think all of us here see just decades of parties and family values and memories," Valdez said.
"I've been coming here since I was a child at 2 years old," said Angie Montoya.
"We've had multiple parties throughout our family generations," said Anna Guerrero.
"We've enjoyed this park for years. It just makes me sad that they are moving the location," Valdez said.
The park will move to the San Antonio Zoo for new experiences. For now, everyone got in one last memory at the original location.
"I have pictures from when I was a little kid here and I'm going to take pictures of him," Montoya said.
The years go back to before digital prints.
"They are on slides of my brothers and sisters at Kiddie Park," said Valdez.
"It's small," said Guerrero."It's intimate."
"That's something I'm going to cherish and remember about this place," said Montoya.
