MIAMI -- Following the first Democratic debate Wednesday night, presidential candidate Julián Castro enjoyed a significant Google search spike.
In fact, according to Google Trends, that search surge was more than 2,400 percent.

A great deal of that interest was likely generated by his impassioned debate comments on immigration. In addition, during the debate, Castro said that if elected he would pass the Equal Rights Amendment, in order to ensure women are paid equally for equal work.
