SAN ANTONIO – The weather has delayed plans for a local group hoping to save the lives of pets.
San Antonio Pets Alive! was supposed to fly 40 dogs out to forever homes in Colorado Wednesday morning. However, the rain pushed the flight to Thursday morning.
In the meantime, Pets Alive is looking for volunteers to help walk, feed, and clean the dogs for the day.
Volunteers are being asked to go to Animal Care Services on Highway 151 during one of three shifts:
- From 6 to 9 a.m.
- Noon to 3 p.m.
- 6 to 9 p.m.
Volunteers must be at least 18 years old and sign a waiver to you participate
