BEXAR COUNTY, Texas - The search continues for a San Antonio woman who was reported missing last Friday.

  • Husband in custody
  • Nearly 200 volunteers searching
  • Search to continue tomorrow

Nearly 200 volunteers have been assisting with the search for Andreen McDonald near her home. Authorities said more people turned out than previously expected. The Bexar County Sheriff's office has been searching for a few days, but authorities said the high turnout of volunteers is letting them expand their efforts into the Camp Bullis area.

Meanwhile, her husband Andre McDonald is in custody but not talking with law enforcement. He was booked on a charge of tampering with evidence over the weekend.

"We have a 6-year-old daughter, and it’s just been really heavy on my heart the past few days. We have friends that know her. She’s just a pillar in this community," said volunteer Wendy Cummings.

The search is expected to continue Wednesday. Anyone with any information is asked to call the Bexar County Sheriff's Office.
