BEXAR COUNTY, Texas – Two people are in custody after a carjacking turned into a high-speed chase through Bexar County early Saturday morning.

- Speeds up to 110 mph
- Man bailed on foot across I-410, was caught and arrested
According to authorities, a man and woman car jacked a victim at gun point in Castroville. Castroville Police spotted the vehicle and began to pursue the suspects.
They were traveling at speeds of a 110 mph down Highway 90. The Department of Public Safety and Bexar County authorities picked up the chase and began to assist.
The driver exited Hwy 90 and got on Hwy 1604 to Hwy 151. The San Antonio Police Department began to assist on Hwy 151 as the suspects got onto I-410 and headed northbound.
Deputies put out spikes at the I-410, I-10 interchange. The suspects went through the spikes and exited Cherry Ridge.
Police said they didn't manage to get far, but the driver stopped and bailed on foot. He crossed the east and west bound lanes of I-410 and ran towards an apartment complex off of Oakdale.
Eagle in the sky spotted the suspect in a bush and guided police to him. The suspect was apprehended and taken into custody.
He is facing several charges from aggravated assault to unauthorized use of a vehicle. Other charges are pending.
The woman involved did not leave the vehicle and was apprehended and taken into custody.
