SAN ANTONIO – Investigators are working to determine the exact cause of a fire just north of downtown overnight on Friday.

A fire flared up at a building on San Pedro and West Cyprus around 4 a.m. Firefighters arrived to find flames towering over building.
Crews managed to control the flames. Firefighters said the fire broke out at an old haunted house.
The fire chief said it appears someone was trying to stay warm and may have started the fire unintentionally.
