SAN ANTONIO -- St. Philip’s College announced its 2019 African-American Heritage Month lineup of several events on Wednesday.

Those interested are welcome to attend the following 2019 observance events:

  • 2019 San Antonio Symphony: February 1-2, 7 p.m., Watson Fine Arts Center, Free Admission
  • Kimberly Hopkins Art Exhibition: February 7, 11 a.m., Morgan Gallery, Watson Fine Arts Center, Free Admission
  • 2019 St. Philip’s College San Antonio Youth Wind Ensemble African-American Heritage Month Concert: February 10, 2 p.m., Watson Fine Arts Center, Free Admission
  • Walk on the River - African-American History Month Debut Screening: February 12, 2 p.m., Turbon Student Center, Rooms 203 and 204, Free Admission
  • 2019 Truth & Reconciliation Oral History Project: February 15-16, 9 a.m.–5 p.m., Turbon Student Center, Free Admission
  • SPC 2019 Soul Food Taste: February 26, 11:45 a.m., Heritage Room, Campus Center building, Tickets available

All events are open to the public, and parking is free.
