SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio police are investigating a deadly shooting at a north side dance studio.

The incident happened early Sunday morning. Police say a man brought a gun to a party at a dance studio on 4133 Naco Perrin Boulevard. After he was asked to leave, he walked out and got into a brawl. The brawl escalated to several fights inside and outside the party.
The man with the gun fired several shots at a security guard. The security guard returned fire, killing the man.
Police detained the security guard for questioning.
