Police arrived at the park, which is located about a mile from where the child was taken Friday, about 1 p.m.

About 5:45 p.m., the San Antonio Police Department tweeted that officers are still searching for the child and that the San Antonio Fire Department was assisting in a water search of Rodriguez Park.
Before 7 p.m. Sunday, police said they had not located a body in the park but were still in the midst of conducting a thorough search.
About 7 p.m. Friday, the father of the child, Christopher Davila, drove up to an Exxon gas station in a white Dodge Dart. He exited the car and approached the store but left the vehicle running and unlocked. An unidentified woman got in Christopher Davila’s car and drove off. She was wearing a light colored hoodie and tan pants.
The car was later located at Rodriguez Park. Police took Christopher Davila into custody and charged him with child endangerment. He has since posted bail and has been released.
San Antonio Police Department Chief William McManus on Saturday said Christopher Davila’s story does not add up.
Anyone with information concerning the child’s whereabouts was urged to call 911.
