SAN ANTONIO — The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating the death of a 61-year-old female inmate.

According to the sheriff’s office, the death appears to be due to natural causes.

The exact cause of death is pending further investigation.

BCSO said she has been in custody since July 19, for a criminal trespass charge.

Additional information will be released once the next of kin has been notified.
