SAN ANTONIO —  University of Texas at San Antonio wants the public to be aware of a report of a mountain lion sighting in the woods near the East Campus Lot on Monday morning.

UTSA police continue to patrol the wood-line along East Campus Drive, but no other sightings have been reported since.

UTSA Office of Emergency Management said it’s been working with biologists at the Texas Parks & Wildlife agency, and will continue to monitor the area.

Officials urge all to be aware of your surroundings and report any sightings to UTSA police at 210-458-4911.
