SAN ANTONIO – A man was found dead in a West Side vacant lot on March 2 and police are offering a reward to catch the person who murdered him.
The body of Jesus Guerra Jr., 49, was discovered around 7:30 a.m. at a dead-end on the 200 block of Henry Street at Alazan Creek.
Guerra’s body was on the ground in a vacant lot with obvious signs of head trauma. EMS pronounced Guerra dead at the scene at 7:57 a.m.
Investigators revealed that Guerra had been hit on the head with a large rock found next to his body.
An autopsy determined that Guerra died from blunt force trauma. His death has been ruled a homicide.
