KIRBY, Texas — A Kirby police K9’s efforts led to the successful bust of methamphetamines.
On Sunday evening, a routine traffic stop, with K-9 Jake on board, ended with 26-year-old Tony Huron being arrested after Jake alerted to the presence of the methamphetamines.
Officers also located a .32 cal handgun hidden in the glove compartment. The gun was loaded and appeared to be fully operational.
Huron was charged with possession of a controlled substance and unlawfully carrying a weapon, and was booked into the Bexar County Jail where he’s being held on a $27,000 bond.
