PLANO, Texas -- A North Texas couple will serve time in prison for lying about their sons' involvement with ISIS.

Mohommad Ali, 57, was sentenced to a year. His wife, 49-year-old Sumaiya, given 30 months.

The Plano couple pleaded guilty last year to making false statement to the FBI. Prosecutors say their adult sons flew to Syria to fight with ISIS. They were charged with providing a foreign terrorist organization with material support or resources.

Their whereabouts are unknown.
