SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio police responded to a call to find a man stabbed in the neck.
Officers responded to a call at location for a cutting which occurred around 7 a.m. in the parking lot of Frank Tejeda Park in the 500 block of Division Avenue.
Kelly Clark, age 56, said he was sitting in his truck with the suspect, and for unknown reasons, he began panicking.
Clark said he tried to calm him down, but the suspect pulled out a knife and stabbed him twice in the neck. Clark got out and the suspect fled in his truck.
San Antonio fire and EMS arrived at the location and transported Clark to University Hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries. He was found to be active on an unrelated felony warrant and will be booked by proxy.
Officers found and arrested the suspect at 200 SW Military. Clark’s vehicle was located at 1100 Pleasanton Road.
The suspect has not been magistrated and therefore has not been identified by police.
