SAN ANTONIO — In honor of San Antonio’s Tricentennial birthday, Big Brothers, Big Sisters of South Texas is advocating for the "Mentennial.”

The "300 Men" campaign is aiming to recruit 300 male volunteers by Father's Day. The campaign began Jan. 1.

About 70 percent of boys involved in the organization are currently without a big brother. The organization hopes the campaign will narrow their mentoring gap.

At least 40 volunteers have signed up since the campaign began. For more information on how you can get involved, visit the organization’s website.
