SAN ANTONIO - A Bexar County detention officer has been arrested for driving while intoxicated on Friday morning.

The department confirmed the arrest and said Officer Krystal Borrego is now on administrative leave while they investigate the arrest.

Borrego, 32, has been with the department for a little over a year and currently works at the Adult Detention Center.

San Antonio Police arrested and charged her with a DWI.
