A search team looking for a missing corpse found human remains that weren’t the ones they were looking for this weekend.
Searchers found skeletal remains when they were looking for Julie Mott's body Saturday in a wooded area of McAllister Park.
Investigators do not believe the remains belong to Mott, whose body was stolen from a funeral home earlier this month. Police think a man who was obsessed with her took her body.
The victim found in McAllister Park had been burned and covered with plywood and brush. Officials add the body did not appear to be embalmed.
