Travis is a born and raised Austinite who has been following sports for as long as he can remember. After graduating from the University of Texas, he got his start in the business in Midland, Texas back in 2003. While he's covered many of the biggest sporting events in the world, his passion is for storytelling, especially on the Beyond the Sport show. He won his first Sports Emmy in 2021 and has won multiple AP awards.

Travis’s life at home is not totally separated from work since he’s married to Spectrum News morning anchor Alex Stockwell. They welcomed their first child in July of 2022 and Emilia is now the focus of their world.
