CLEMMONS, N.C. -- It's been a year since police found the skeletal remains of two murder victims buried in the backyard of a Clemmons home dubbed "the house of horrors."

Since then, the Knob Hill Drive home has been demolished and the land was listed for sale at $17,000.

Forsyth County property tax records show Stephen and Vicki Brewer who live next door, bought it last month.

The couple plans to landscape it, and neighbors say they're ready to move on.

"I'm glad he did buy it," Linda Culler said. "I was afraid someone would buy it and build again."

Pazuzu Algarad, Amber Burch and Krystal Matlock are all charged in connection with the murders.

They're expected to appear in court on October 29.
