The front will lift north of the region tomorrow morning, triggering more showers and a few rumbles of thunder, affecting the morning commute. The wet weather will be through the area by early afternoon, allowing for drying conditions and even some afternoon sunshine. With gusty southeasterly winds, temperatures will climb into the mid-70s.
Skies will become clear to partly cloudy tomorrow night and as winds remain gusty, temperatures will only fall into the mid to upper 60s.
A cold front will approach the region on Friday. Ahead of it, temperatures will surge into the low to mid-80 and we’ll see partly cloudy skies. Thanks to daytime heating, combined with instability, there is the potential for strong to severe thunderstorms Friday evening.
