GREENVILLE, S.C. — Bob Jones University (BJU) unveiled its new SC Free Tuition Guarantee on Tuesday which offers eligible S.C. residents a chance to attend the university for free beginning in the 2025-2026 school year.
The new program will cover up to four years of undergraduate study. It includes tuition and other program fees after students apply for available state, federal and institutional aid.
To qualify, students must submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid application by the Aug. 1 deadline, be accepted to a two or four-year BJU program and maintain full-time enrollment. Their family must also have an adjusted gross income of $100,000 or less as reflected on their most current FAFSA application.
“We are committed to investing in our local community by making a quality Christian liberal arts education more affordable and accessible,” said BJU President Josh Crockett. “Increasingly, the cost of higher education has become an obstacle for students and their families. The SC Free Tuition Guarantee provides substantial savings, reduces the need for loans, and expands higher education opportunities for South Carolinians.”
