GREENVILLE, S.C. — The City of Greenville is still looking to fill nearly 600 volunteer positions for the annual Fall for Greenville festival.
Roughly 150,000 people are expected to venture to the streets of downtown Greenville for the festival that’s set to kick off Friday, November 8 through Sunday, November 10.
According to Greenville’s Multimedia Manager, Loren Thomas, roughly 2,000 positions need to be filled to keep up with the crowds.
“Anyone looking to volunteer will receive a t-shirt for the weekend and, new this year, TWO sheets of Taste Tickets for each shift worked,” wrote Thomas in a press release.
Volunteers are needed in the following areas:
- Beer Garden Server: All weekend
- Beer and Wine Servers: All weekend
- Ticket/Wristband Seller: Friday and Saturday nights and all-day Sunday
- Wine Garden: Saturday night
Volunteers who work four or more shifts will also receive a parking pass for the weekend.
Fall for Greenville 2024 was originally scheduled for Friday, Oct. 11 through Sunday, Oct. 13. However, it was rescheduled following Hurricane Helene’s impact in the Upstate.
