(CHARLESTON, S.C.) - The Medical University of South Carolina is bringing a new facility to the Charleston area.
The MUSC Health Clements Ferry Pavilion will offer nearly a dozen specialties. The new facility will be 4 levels and 80,000 square feet.
MUSC decided to build this facility to address a growing medical need in Charleston and Berkeley. Currently, many residents in the area have to travel long distances for specialized and primary care.
The facility is expected to open in late 2025. Officials held a ceremonial grounbreaking Tuesday afternoon.
