At long last, it’s the weekend! Below, you’ll find a quick guide — based on information from the MTA — to the biggest planned service changes on the city’s subways and rails.

Subway service changes
2 and 3 trains in Brooklyn and Manhattan
Between 11:30 p.m. Friday and 5 a.m. Monday, 2 trains won't run between Franklin Avenue-Medgar Evers College and Flatbush Avenue-Brooklyn College in either direction; and 3 trains won't run between Chambers Street and New Lots Avenue in either direction.
2 trains will run between Wakefield-241st Street and Franklin Avenue-Medgar Evers College and on the 3 train line to and from Crown Heights-Utica Avenue.
3 trains, meanwhile, will run between Harlem-148th Street and Chambers Street and on the 1 train line to and from Rector Street.
D trains in Brooklyn
Between 3:45 a.m. Saturday and 10 p.m. Sunday, Coney Island-bound D trains will run on the N line between 36th Street and Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue.
Riders can take a Manhattan-bound train for service to and from bypassed stations.
J and M trains in Brooklyn and Manhattan
Between 11:45 p.m. Friday and 5 a.m. Monday, J trains won't be running in either direction between Hewes Street and Broad Street. They will run between Jamaica Center-Parsons/Archer and Hewes Street every 12 minutes during the day and evening.
M trains, meanwhile, won't run in either direction between Myrtle Avenue and Delancey Street-Essex Street.
M train riders can take the J train for service between Myrtle Avenue and Hewes Street. All commuters can take a free B106 shuttle bus for service between Hewes Street and Delancey Street-Essex Street.
Riders can take the L train for service between Brooklyn and Manhattan, and a 4, 5 or 6 train for service to Lower Manhattan.
N trains in Brooklyn
Between 6:45 a.m. Saturday and 7 p.m. Sunday, Manhattan-bound N trains will run on the D train line from Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue to 36th Street due to structural work.
Riders can take a take a Coney Island-bound train for service to and from bypassed stations.
N and R trains in Brooklyn and Manhattan
Between 11:45 p.m. Friday and 5 a.m. Monday, Bay Ridge-bound R and Coney Island-bound N local trains will run on the Q train line from Canal Street to DeKalb Avenue; and R trains won't run between Whitehall Street and Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center in either direction during late nights.
R trains, however will be running nonstop between Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center and 36th Street in both directions.
Late-night R trains will be running between Bay Ridge-95th Street and 36th Street, and nonstop to and from Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center.
N and R train changes are scheduled because of track maintenance.
1 trains in the Bronx and Manhattan
Between 5:45 a.m. and 8 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, Van Cortlandt Park-bound 1 trains will run nonstop between 215th Street and Van Cortlandt Park-242nd Street due to track maintenance.
Riders can take a Manhattan-bound train for service to and from bypassed stations.
2 and 5 trains in the Bronx
Between 3:45 a.m. Saturday and 10 p.m. Sunday, Manhattan-bound 2 and 5 trains will run nonstop from East 180th Street to 3rd Avenue-149th Street due to structural maintenance.
Riders can take a Wakefield-bound 2 train or Eastchester-bound 5 train for service to and from bypassed stations.
4 and 6 trains in Manhattan
Between 11:45 p.m. Friday and noon Saturday, uptown 6 and 4 local trains won't be stopping at Astor Place due to station work.
Riders can take a downtown train or use nearby 14th Street-Union Square or Bleecker Street stations for service to and from this station.
Between 11:45 p.m. Saturday and noon Sunday, downtown 6 and 4 local trains won't be stopping at Astor Place due to station work.
Riders can take an uptown train or use nearby Bleecker Street or 14th Street-Union Square stations for service to and from this station.
A and C trains in Brooklyn
Between 9:45 p.m. Friday and 5 a.m. Monday, Queens-bound A trains and Euclid Av-bound C trains won't be stopping at Broadway Junction due to accessibility work.
Riders can take a Manhattan-bound train for service to and from bypassed stations.
A and C trains in Manhattan
Between 11:45 p.m. Friday and 5 a.m. Monday, downtown C and A local trains will run express from 168th Street to 59th Street-Columbus Circle due to track maintenance.
Riders can take an uptown local train for service to and from bypassed stations.
F trains in Manhattan
Between 9:45 p.m. Friday and 5 a.m. Monday, uptown F trains won't stop at 14th Street or 23rd Street. Riders can take a downtown F train for service to and from bypassed stations.
Uptown F trains, meanwhile, will stop at the express platform from West 4th Street-Washington Square to 47th-50th Streets-Rockefeller Center.
N, Q and R trains in Manhattan
Between 11:45 p.m. Friday and 5 a.m. Monday, uptown N, Q and R trains will run express between Canal Street and 34th Street-Herald Square.
Riders can take a downtown train for service to and from bypassed stops.
