The CENTRO public bus system is now off and running on Cortland County roads.
There are six new routes, including routes to and from SUNY Cortland, Cornell University and Tompkins Cortland Community College.
To get onboard, it just costs $1 or you can buy a monthly pass for $40 dollars each month.
Work is expected to continue for about two weeks.
You will not be able to view account information, make payments or call the tolls by mail number.
Changes will be made to unnumbered exit signs along state Route 690 in the Town of Van Buren.
The governor’s office said Non-MTA transit authorities are encouraged to apply.
The funding is part of the Wildlife Crossings Pilot Program.
The state funding will help revamp 551 road miles across New York.
