It's deep into May, and that can only mean one thing: the Dolphins are deep into the postseason.
Le Moyne is just one win away from their 6th national championship in program history.
On the turf over at Ted Grant Field, it's toasty this week and the practices are intense. The players are feeling the heat but they're not worried about it because there is a light at the end of the tunnel.
"Feeling pretty excited. None of us have really been in this position before going to championship weekend," Frank Delia, a Le Moyne redshirt junior goalie said. "I know for myself I always went as a fan, and that was really special to me and now to be a part of it is really cool."
"We made so many sacrifices and this was our goal to get to this weekend," said senior midfielder Braeden Elmer. "We made it here and we're just going to have a really hard practices this week and get prepared for Sunday. I can't wait for it. I'm so excited."
The last time Le Moyne won the national championship was back in 2016. They'll face off against Lenoir-Rhyne at 1 p.m. on Sunday.
